Rob Rice Homes and Epic Realty are incredibly proud to announce that we surpassed our fundraising goal of $10,000 for the Salvation Army’s Recovery Program this year.
Together with our partners, sub-contractors, and community we raised $15,844.13 that will go directly toward the recovery program. This is the most money we have raised for the Salvation Army yet, after raising roughly $8,000 in past years.
This year, we raised over $11,000 in person through ringing the bell at Cabela’s in Thurston County and about $4,000 through our virtual red kettle. We are absolutely thrilled and so grateful for the support and generosity from our community.
What Is the Impact for Thurston County?
It is important to us as a company to help our Thurston County neighbors in need, and we are pleased we were able to participate in this fundraiser for a sixth consecutive year. We were especially appreciative to be able to fundraise in person after the virtual event last year due to the pandemic.
This year, all money raised goes directly to Thurston County’s Salvation Army’s Recovery Program – an in-house work-therapy program to assist people in need. To learn more about the program and its impact, take a look at our most recent blog article where we announced our participation in the fundraiser.

Thank you to our partners for making this possible (pictured: Doors Unlimited).
